that is a rockwell transfer case it has also. Closed front knuckle dana44HD up front..

what year did the put the 350 in? could this be a 327?the glove box sticker is gone so i dont know.would like to see someone get this for the parts it has.hate to see it go to crusher.

std v8 in 68 was the 307...327 was an option...and would be on the glovbox.

I would say 307 truck...get the code off the front of block ,just in front of the pass. cyl head..you will need a knife to scrape it clean..I can tell you what motor it is..should have a few #s then 2 or 3 letters ..

Is this your truck? I mean no disrespect but if you are going to take it to the crusher on Monday, why charge twice what you will get at the salvage yard? If you want it saved...sell it for scrap value. I know it's a free market, I would probably try and do the same...but I'd rather see it stripped for parts vs. smashed.

I understand your response.no its not my truck.it showed up at my house yesterday with the local scrap guy.wanted to know if I needed any parts for our 67.since I didn't need anything I asked if I could put it on the site for someone.few extra bucks for me for my time dealing with it and a few for him.he's getting 400 +so tearing in to it to part it out ain't worth it, unless someone wanted to snatch it up.the price is reasonable for the parts, but I guess this one will be left for scrap.

Nice price for the parts, hate to scrap it. Would you be willing to take the front "C H E V R O L E T" lettering off the hood and ship? Wish I was closer I'd snatch it up!

thanks for all the replies.they took it to scrapyard this afternoon.thought about buying it myself and parting,but didnt know if i would ever make my money back on the parts since i didnt need to use any of them myself.oh well.....good bye old bowtie.
