How much does a bed of a long bed weigh?

Anybody now what a long bed weighs? Mine has dually fenders on it but I really just need to know what the bed and tailgate weigh?

I would say around 450lbs. I know a short bed weighs in right at 400.

If a short bed weighs 400 then a long bed must be close to 100lbs heavier then add some dually fenders I am probably looking at 540-550lbs

Thanks!

x2, my dad and I picked an 85 K-20's bed off and carried it over to set on saw horses.

I think I gave him 20 bucks for a set of plans. I can't remember how much the steel was but I want to say 50 or so. I built it in 4-5 hrs. All you need is a chop saw and welder. He's a member on this site rocrln is his screen name,PM him or check out the website.
Let me tell you it works slick
