lwb to swb bed
 

has anyone ever cut a long bed to a short bed size? I know its been done for 67-72 beds just wondering if it could be done to the 73-87 beds. If theres a thread on it post links please.

cutting the actual bed aint gonna work they are longer in front and back, they tapper upwards in back and the bolt holes are spaced out to fit the frame and such. You'd be better off to find and buy a short bed. Now for cutting down a long bed frame to make it short bed it's easier.

just like the 67-72 beds but people still shorten them up. Has anyone actually shorten a 73-87 bed?

Dude your in Texas, the land of rust free parts. Just buy a bed and swap them.
