Windshield rubber replacement

When replacing the windshield rubber, do you have to use any kind of sealant with the new rubber?

:bowtie: NOPE...... I NEVER DO. AS LONG AS IT'S A GOOD W/S RUBBER, & PUT IN CORRECTLY, IT WON'T LEAK.

I agree with John on the seal. If you do experience a problem then the sealant can always be injected in by a good glass shop.

I like to avoid sealant because of the mess, and most of the time it is not needed.

Make sure you have a good seal, no cheap stuff....
