Slow transformation of a Wheatland Yellow GMC 2500
Back in June I bought a 2003 GMC 2500 SLE off of Ebay that was in Colorado.
This is what it looked like in the ad. http://inlinethumb34.webshots.com/41...600x600Q85.jpg http://inlinethumb18.webshots.com/46...600x600Q85.jpg Then when it showed up here in Connecticut. http://inlinethumb41.webshots.com/34...600x600Q85.jpg |
Re: Slow transformation of a Wheatland Yellow GMC 2500
I decided to ditch the alloy wheels and go with the steel wheels and Michelin 265/75/R16's that were on my 98 Chevy C2500 instead.

Then I put in a rear slider, an Eaton Detroit Truetrac and a Flowmaster dual exhaust.

Re: Slow transformation of a Wheatland Yellow GMC 2500
I never did like the offset of the 98 steel wheels in the front (they stuck out a little beyond the flairs in the front) so I went to the 99-present steel wheels that I powdercoated metallic silver. I also put on some body moldings from LMC that make a big difference IMO. The only thing left on my to-do list is to put on some cab lights.

Nice body color and good usage of color on the steel wheels.
