88-91 Blazer Front Clip

I have a 88-91 blazer front clip on my 79 chevy truck. The wiring harness from the 88-91 clip has a different plug in on it and it doesn't plug into the back of the fuse box on the fire wall. Is there an adapter plug I can get or is there any simply way for me to wire my headlights? Any help will do

Thanks, Swid:blz:

Do you still have the '79 harness? I'd use that and splice it to run all four lights on high (if it's the four light grille).

The wire colors should be the same from your '79 to the later clip. Just splice the wires and you should be good to go. Just a note, if your donor was a 90 or 91 with ABS, you need to carry over the brake pressure switch wire (I thnk it is either tan or tan/white), as the newer clip doesn't have that wire.

Make sure you stagger the splices, or it will look like a pregnant snake.
