ID transfer case??
 

how do i ID my transfer case i have.. i got it out of 78 3/4 ton truck automatic.. i am putting it in a 72 chevy with a four speed is this going to work?? i need help new to all of this stuff.

Bottom line if its a NP205 transfer case it will have a silver dollor sized cover on the backside with three bolts holding it on.

NP205 input shafts are different depending on which tranny they were mated to.
