Just picked up a 1988 R20 Suburban
Well my Old ladys car is just to small and we need something bigger for the family. I dont know what happend but i got her interested in Suburbans. I found a 88 R20 somewhat locally. It came out of las Vegas. It has a rebuilt 454 (was TBI now Carb), 400 trans, 4.10 gear, and HD tow package. Its got some dings and small dents but SOLID. Its gonna need some work. Little things mainly. But its gonna be our family cruiser/ my car hauler :metal: I ended up getting a pretty good deal on it $1600. So it leaves some room to put money into it and not end up spending way more then its worth.
Heres some pics. http://img547.imageshack.us/img547/5...uburban009.jpg http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/5...uburban003.jpg http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/449...uburban004.jpg http://img717.imageshack.us/img717/1...uburban011.jpg http://img545.imageshack.us/img545/5...uburban001.jpg |

Looks like you got a real good deal considering the drivetrain and condition of the body. One of the best things about these old trucks is that parts are there and they're cheap too. Keep us posted on any progress.
