73-87 anybody running this

my engine is complete finally and all thats left is making an exhaust system. I am wondering if anybody has turnouts infront of their rear tires. if so did the gas tank get in the way of anything it looks like it would on my 85?

it depends on what headers to i have long tube headers with turndowns infront of the reaer wheels and it hangs under if you had short tube they would prob blow right on it

I hooker longtubes on my 79 Shorty and they dumped in front of the wheels. There was no isses with the tanks getting in the way.

i really appreciate the replies and im also thinking about turndowns now that you mention it but i am asking about turning out infront of the rear tires lol thanks anyway anything helps me
