Weekly finds and come ups
 

Well we all like to show off the goodies that we get for our trucks, so I figured that a thread should be dedicated to it.
Here is what I picked up last night from a local classified ad. Got it all for $120.

Pair of 6.2's for $250, one is an 82 red block, both are complete and turn over, spare injector lines and 2 spare pumps. Now my 87 will live for another 200,000.

picked up new single wheel hubs for the Dana 60 today. $175 for all new hubs rotors and studs, I love craigslist!

A guy at work asked if I had found a motor for the crew yet,I told him no. He then said that he just bought a 94 extended cab that had been rolled over to convert his 96 to a 4x4 and would sell the tbi motor to me for $200. I told him thats fine, call me when you get it out. Well when I got there I noticed the truck, it used to belong to a buddy of mine. I got out and the guy from work said "Dude I screwed up I should have told you $500 this motor has been rebuilt not to long ago". I told him I know I did the work to it thanks for the deal!
So for $200 I got a TBI 350 that I rebuilt 20,000 miles ago.

cab/doors/front fenders - $250
sm 465/np 205 - $150
fame - leftover from my dads crew cab project
suspension/axles/wheels&tires - FREE out of a furd that was given to me
bed - FREE off of a truck going to the scrap yard
grill/support/all pieces - FREE from the scrap yard
engine - FREE from a 64 that was given to me because it was beyond saveable
spare parts - FREE from a dodge that was given to me if i pulled the parts and gave them the scrap money
interior - mix of leftover parts from my dads interior and 4 matching captains chairs from an astro van in the scrap yard
hood - my dad got it for $100 and didnt like it cuz it was fiberglass so he gave it to me (im not gonna complain)

got this dash out at the junk yard cheap and the 4x4 air dam cheap to im going back hopefully this week and getting the door panels

Well I bought these last week but just picked them up yesterday. Front and rear Leather seats that are heated and power (all 4) out of a 91 7series BMW. Got everything for $250.

I got these NOS bezels and grill along with a USA made chrome sport bumper for my '87.

Bought them off an old guy that had them in his garage for 15 years and he 'found' them again long since he sold the truck he was going to put them on.

Scored a 3:73 posi rearend from Craigslist for $50.00. Gears look new. Will be a nice change from the stock 2:73's in her right now. BTW, no I'm not going to be trying any John Force burnouts with it, just wanted a lil more azz in my junk for cheap, lol.

I picked up a 79 Chevy 2wd half ton Big 10 today for $1900. Its in amazingly original and RUST FREE shape! Its blue/white, my fav combo. It has 3:73 gears and a stock 350. The original owner added the gears and an auxiliary gas tank.

Three years ago I sold all my trucks and parts and have been itching for another and last nite I found this one. Im super stoked!!!!!!

This was taken shortly after the prior owner left from dropping it off. This truck was garage kept for most of its life. The rockers, cab corners and fenders are rust free, the inside of the bed id ALMOST perfect!!! The one rust spot is on the right rear part of the bedside. Im a paint/body guy by trade so she will be pretty once again soon!!!!!!!

First modification is done! My 76 GMC had one and I bought this new dog years ago to replace that one but held on to it. He now FINALLY has a new home!!!

This is not really a weekly find, but stuff I have accumulated over the years. Almost everything came out of a junk yard at some point in time. I have posted my collection of center console boxes a couple of times. This is my group of square body grilles.

Well got home from work today and these were sittin at the door. My wife bought them for me for my birthday, gotta love her.
