I hot tank the parts in a caustic solution (removes all the paint and oil-grease-etc.) and then dip over night or so in a acid thank that kills the rust. The third step is a simple glass bead and then the part is like new, 100% rust free.

It is actually off a 350 but it is the same as the the one used on a 307.
