I'm sure some have seen this already but I thought it was pretty cool and I might even get these.

do what i do rotate to where the mirror faces down in the morning then rotate them to normal when your about to drive

Well I have seen people put these on 67-72 model trucks for that reason, but really, just my opinion, if you care about your truck and there is that much ice on it that you can't see out of it, you don't need it out on the road UNLESS you built it just for that reason. Just my two cents. I just know with as much money as I've put into my trucks, the purpose of heated mirrors is pointless. Now, if I had an older truck that I jacked up a little and put some mud slappin' tires on with chains and 4wd, I can see the purpose.

sorry to resurrect a dead-thread. But up here in the great white north (Canada) you can wipe vinegar on your mirrors to prevent frost. Works as well as heated mirrors IMHO. Save your money and get heated seats! So nice in the cold :lol:
