Introduction

Watsup guys, been lurking on here for some time and searching for a pickup for years, finally became the proud 3rd owner of a 1970 2wd short-bed last month :metal: figured its about time i introduced myself and the truck.
Truck started life as a light blue 327ci 3mt. non-ac, power steering.
It now has a 400 mated to a 3spd auto, a 72 front end and blazer fuel tank, and has been painted metallic gray.
the body has 99k original miles and is straight as can be except for the grill shell and tailgate
motor and transmission have appr. 35-40k miles, runs well but does need a bit of tlc.
Bought it as a project and couldn't be happier, being fresh out of HS and moving to az for school in may means it'll be a while before i have the time or funds to give the truck the attention it deserves, but when i found it i knew i had to have it, and i think i got it for the right price, so i'm thrilled.

and now the part everyone actually cares about, the pics. lol
planning on pulling it out to clean it up, change the oil, and attend to an oil leak on Thursday when the weather is warmer, will get better pics then.

and i cant leave out my first born... the beast that started my love for gm trucks when i got it 3 years ago.
2002 6.0l Yukon Denali. 190k miles and runs likes its brand spankin new
