i need help to remove the dash trim
anyone know how to remove the dash trim on the passanger side?
I painted the gauge bezel black because the brushed aluminum was really scratched up and now i would like to paint all the trim to match. any advice? thanks in advance. never mind guys , i got the answer from a thread below mine.... is there a way to delete this thread to reduce clutter? |
Re: i need help to remove the dash trim
You have to completely remove the dash pad. Once it's off you can access the back side of it where you very carefully remove the speed nuts holding the plastic dash trim. It's not that difficult but the biggest challenge is removing those speed nuts from the backside without breaking the fragile plastic studs they're attached to. Pretty straightforward once you get there. Good luck.
