Question about lift springs 70 GMC

I purchased some Lift springs second hand and they are suppose to be 4" of lift, the blocks that come with it are 4" on the high end less on the tapered side.
Anyhow with the spring upside down on Floor (arced end up) it measure 7 1/2" high. Seems like if it was 4" lift it should be less considering the stock springs are not straight.
Hope this is not confusing anyone. Does anyone have a set of 4" springs laying around or know what the measurement should be? 70 GMC4x4 stock height.
Thanks
Ron

Re: Question about lift springs 70 GMC

I just received the new 4" lift springs for my '73 and could take a measurement tomorrow for you. Not sure if there is a difference between the '70 and '73 springs, though.

Okay, here is a photo of the measurement you needed. Exactly 7 inches to the top of the spring...Attachment 704042

It looks a little confusing with the other spring back there, but you get the idea.

Thanks Kindly, that is what I wanted to know.
Are you going with rear blocks or springs? I am thinking of the ORD shackle flip so I can keep mysprings and stay away from blocks.
