Re: Broken front cab bolt?
What shape is the support in?? If it's rusty just cut it out and replace the whole support. If its nice you'll have to go in from the top.

Re: Broken front cab bolt?
support is in good shape truck is solid other then all these damn bolts being rusted like no other. so how big of a hole do I have to cut in my floor and do i patch it back up when I get the body work done?

Re: Broken front cab bolt?
Happened to me.... on ALL my cab bolts lmao! I had to cut little access hole to get the rest out. Talk about a PITA!

Re: Broken front cab bolt?
I would used a 2" hole saw and measure a bunch of times before cutting. There is nothing worse than messing up and cutting a hole just a little bit off. Ask me how I know......:waah:

Re: Broken front cab bolt?
So did you patch the hole up or leave it open so you have acesse to a nut? kinda woundering if it wouldnt be better that way so your not braking them off anymore..

Re: Broken front cab bolt?
when I did mine I patched them up, but I welded all the nuts solid so they could not turn. Then put a TON of anti-seize on them. But, you could use body plugs too.

Re: Broken front cab bolt?
I am going with the anti seize and plugs in the front holes, the rear holes I'm capping with sheet metal and silicone
