1978 GMC New Take Off Tailgate stored since 1978.
 

Up for sale is a 1978 NTO GMC tailgate. Removed when the truck was brand new to make way for a canopy with doors. It has very minor scratches here and there. The RH lower corner is scratched as the pic shows. This is a very nice gate including the finish panel. 400.00 plus shipping

Shipping is 91.98 which includes insurance and 25.00 for materials to build a box. It would be in a custom plywood box packed with bubble wrap. Thanks

Worth every penny. The re-pop tailgates don't even come close to the fit of the originals. Plus, if you try to fix a beat-up original, you'll have a lot of money in body work, and they'll never be as nice as this one.

Just opened box and unpacked tailgate. Awesome tailgate, and in great condition for its age, few scratches here and there, but hey, it is 33 years old!! And talk about a shipping container! Thanks again.:gmc2:
