Timing issues
 
Could somene please tell me what the timing should be set for on a 383 stroker.. I am having some idling issues, have adjusted it like a hundred times either it idles too fast or it dies at red lights can't seem to get it right. thought maybe the timing might need to be adjusted.

When i had my 383 the guy that builds 383 for a living told me to run it about + 14 for a mild built 383. . . he even runs his personal 383 at +16 hope this helps:metal:
