i have been building a 68 short wide for several years now. It is chopped windshield pillars leaned back, bagged......suicide doors the list goes on. I have chopped it to retain the stock glass and have roped it in to test fit and it fits well...........TELL ME WAT U THINK!

looking good bro keep it up, and you did it right on the chop in my opinion, not to much taken out and it looks pretty proportionate and not retarded looking, makes it look more sporty. did you lean the back of the cab(b pillars) in??

I agree, the chop looks good! I like that not too much taken out, and that you retained the factory glass. Keep up the good work!

very nice!!!

I am not a fan of chops in general but REALLY like the way you did yours. Subtle but you know it's chopped and has a fast/smooth look to it. Really flows with the 67 hood line! Nice work!

really diggin the chop.I too am no fan of chops on these trucks either, but its suttleness adds to its awesomeness. How do u like the suicide doors? Was it worth the work?Im thinking of doing mine but not sure i want to Commit, lol

I like the truck, and am a fan of chops, but I personally like even chops and no posts leanlng back. To each his own, huh. Did you recontour the bottom where the bottom of the windshield sits? Some don't realize, when you lean the windshield back the lower curve of the glass changes too. Nice job on the truck, and I know what you're going through, as far as the work is concerned. Here's mine:

The chop and doors is fine. But the cowl is interesting idea! That could be a very interesting new peice to start producing. I like the rip open look of it and it serves the purpose of fresh air inside the cab as well!;):chevy:

Re: Bagged and chopped 68

those are most likely relief cuts that will get welded up.

Re: Bagged and chopped 68

sorry no advice. That chop looks awesome and I hate chopped tops on these trucks!

you may get better replies from the paint and body section of the board.
you need to make a thread on how to chop a top.
