Exhaust routing
Hey Everybody. Show us your pictures of how you routed your exhaust. With a transmission, frame mounted brake booster, and transmission mount, there is not a lot of room to run the exhaust. Lets see what you have done. It may be as simple as just routing under the whole mess.

I don't have any pics of it under the cab but I have everything you do plus a 4wd transfer case. The muffler shop I went to managed to route both pipes from the rams horn manifolds up as high as he could. I did want anything hanging below the bottom of the transfer crossmember to get tangled up in brush, etc. Looking at them I can see if you are running a slammed truck it might get tight.
update here are some photos of both sides from the manifold drop to behind the cab. They are painted with grey heat paint because they had some surface corrosion. |
