I just finished mine. I ended up buying two seats to make one. Mine had several broken springs and I also had to patch the bottom pan in two spots. After I replaced the springs I put some hard foam under each one for additional support.

Thank you gentlemen, for the quick reply. I have a lot to learn just trying to get started, and the pictures are very helpful, as the additional ones from the threads. I have found a couple of leads on seats for sale, but some are not willing to ship and the like. May have to go down the path of putting a couple together to make one, as was suggested required to get a usable product. Did the frames always include the brackets that mounted to the body? The truck I have is nearly complete, except for the seat, which was replaced with some kind of bucket seats from who knows what kind of vehicle. I appreciate your time and if you hear or see of this item for sale, keep me in mind. Thanks again!

Thanks OrrieG! Didn't think of trying Craig's list, but I am still trying to get saavy on the resources available. Looks like it should fit, but I thought that the 1959 was a second series truck. Again, another thing I need to get saavy about. With Spring coming closer in MN, I will have a better opportunity to start scrutinizing my project. Thanks again.
