Suggestions for longer brake hoses

I'm finally getting to the brake lines on my truck. I picked up some new rubber hoses at autozone, but realized after I got them on they were going to be to short for the full cycle of my airbags. I talked to them again earlier but all of the people working in there right now weren't much help. Does anyone know of a different hose I can use that would be a few inches longer, maybe a different year model or something? I was really hoping I could get them today locally instead of having to order them online. Thanks, Donnie

That number comes up as a '73 K10 part.
I have used 2wd '73 hoses.

i tried the 2wd, and they seemed to be too short? my hard lines are in front of the crossmember, pre-71 i believe? anyhoo, they work for me.

73-87 'factory relacement' type hoses are slightly longer vs. 71-72 (1-2").

I compared some 2wd to 4wd rubber lines after reading on here that they were longer but found the 4wd lines were not longer. Of course, I haven't checked every possibility, but I would verify 1st before assuming one is longer vs. the other.

71-72 are on the front side of the crossmember.
67-70 are on the rear side of the crossmember.

These are the year models I checked into so apparently not all mfr's products are the same.

I dont know if you have thought about switching to braided stainless, but thats what I did. THIS PLACE was local to me when I lived just outside Memphis, and they had everything in stock. I just measured for the lengths I needed, and they made them up with adapters and all. Pricey, but really nice stuff.

71-72 1 ton dually hoses are 1 inch longer than 1/2 ton hoses but otherwise identical. I use them on lowered trucks as they fit better. I buy them from Kennys Trucks for about 45 per pair.

Thanks for all the responses guys. I ended up at napa and the guys in there actually were some help. Long story short after trying two other lengths and 3 trips back and forth I ended up just drilling a hole in the tab on the back side of the crossmember and using the factory length hoses. :smoke: I am running all new hard lines so it's all good.
