I just scooped up another tailgate for my truck. Only downfull is it came from a one ton so it has the running lights on it. The tailgate band is mint! The band on mine is in good shape too. The gate itself is starting to bubble pretty good on mine though. My question is should i keep the running lights on the new gate and paint it, or fill the light holes? Here are a few crappy pics of the truck for reference. Thanks.

I think it would look better as is without the lights, Just never cared for them sticking out there.

Sell the tailgate you have and get one without lights.

id leave it and hook em up but then again i think that at night the more youre seen the better
