rear shocks

How does the rear shock mount into the bottom hole? Is it just a bolt that screws onto the bottom bracket or is it one of the bolts with a nut built onto it as a spacer (like the 73 and up)? Anyone know what I mean? Thanks.

???
Leaf or coil?

The leaf has a bracket that has two side plates. Both plates have a 1/2 inch(I think) hole and the shock sits between the plates. The shock has a rubber bushing in it and the bolt goes through one plate, the busing and the second plate. There is no shoulder on the bolt and mine don't have a metal spacer inside the rubber bushing.

I don't know about coils.

Hope this helps
