Hey Dave why don't you get a nice little Geo Metro or something for an everyday driver. I could see you driving a Geo. hehe.

swervin ervin 03-19-2003 04:20 PM

Man, that is nice. :D

Only thing I wouldn't like about it is I didn't do it myself. I want the proud part of it too. Don't get me wrong, I don't think there is anything at all wrong with buying a truck already done, as you will probably 99.9% of the time get it much cheaper than you can do it for.

But, I want to be able to tell everyone, I did it all, up to the paint part of course. I would do this to, if I had the talent and tools/place.

That is one more beautiful truck. Not a daily driver for sure.

Dave, why dont you jsut get rid of the scallops? put a 700R4 in your truck and call it a day?

84Stepper 03-19-2003 04:34 PM

Droooooool....Droooool. Man that is one sweet ride. I wish I had the money for it.

LOHRTBT 03-19-2003 04:54 PM

Why are you so hung up on me making my truck look like everyone elses!!??
I do have a race prepped 700R4 and a new crate 350. WIth many more goodies planned.

messed up c-10 03-19-2003 04:59 PM

what are you gonna do with your old 350? I might be interested in buying it a little ways down the road because its the engine I've been looking at getting.

LOHRTBT 03-19-2003 05:08 PM

no no no...what I am saying is that I have a new crate motor in my truck!! lol

now it looks like everyone is misunderstanding you this time:p

messed up c-10 03-19-2003 05:12 PM

oh.:whine: I thought you were buying another 350. oh well you snooze you lose I just wanted to jump on it.

LOHRTBT 03-19-2003 07:44 PM

Man I am serious. I wish I didnt have my mind set on that T/A!! lol I would love to own that truck It would be fun to have both.
Oh well...no where to park it in 2 weeks. I will be covering the truck and putting it in my old man's garage for a bit. but I will be saving up and doing things to it. Just not gonna be a DD anymore. :)

Blue Beard 03-19-2003 09:28 PM

Okay, everyones talking. Lets see who bids on it first...............He says its low reserve..................

low 84 03-19-2003 11:27 PM

I BET THE RESERVE IS AT LEAST 10K

Ric83 03-19-2003 11:30 PM

Man, that thing is nasty!! (That's a good thing before anyone asks :D) I would get it, but I don't like those euro lights on it....Ok, well that is not the only reason $$$$ :D But like Mike said, I want to be able to say it is mine because I built it. It is a much better feeling. Just look at my truck, sitting for over a year now awaiting an engine to get it running again. lol.:burnout:

LOHRTBT 03-20-2003 12:08 AM

i know the reserve and its not low ;)

navybear70 03-20-2003 01:13 AM

Each to his own, but I don't see the point behind balancing, beefing and blueprinting a motor just to drive it off a ramp at a show. I want to whup every driver dumb enough to test me, and that means a daily driver. Again...just my opinion. Nice truck though.

79BIG10 03-20-2003 06:30 AM

I agree a nice truck but wny do all the work to the motor, add a rear spool and everything else and not drive it at least at the track?

Low87 03-20-2003 09:49 AM

That is a nice truck. I never did like the "stubby" style flames though.

LOHRTBT 03-20-2003 10:21 AM

Well If it makes you all feel better IF I were ever to have a motor like that...it would see the track hhehehee
