Fuel Cell in my 85

Not sure where else to post this so I fgiured here would be the best. I am going to put a fuel cell in between the rear frame rails of my 85 when I do my 6.0l swap. I am doing this bc I am going to shift some weight around for racing purposes, I am also moving the battery and geting rid of what ever I can up front to balance out the weight better. Would aluminum be better than the plastic style? The aluminum one is 20 gals and measures 24 L x 20 W X 10 D and the plastic is 16 gal and measures 25 L x 17 W X 9 D. The aluminum is $80 more.

Plastic for racing, aluminum for all purpose driving.
