I'm back! To the 73-87 side at least ;)
 

I was sitting atthe drive through last night around 9:30 and was scanning through CL when I saw something I couldn't believe.. Called the guy..went to look at it around 10..picked it up this morning. What was it? A 79 SWB with minimal rust. Tach cluster..and a 12 bolt posi! For 200 bucks! Even got a title! Have been wanting to build a round eye for some time and boom! This popped up!

Good deal.... reminds me of the 78short bed factory sport truck (sport bumpers, tach dash, bucket seats, and sport mirrors) that I could have had for about $1000 if I was looking for a project and not a daily driver.

Nice truck funk, Whats that like your 10th square:lol:. I also just got back into another square bout 2 weeks ago. I went all the way to lubbock to pick up a 82 swb silverado in awesome condition for only 700. Gotta love Craigslist. Good luck with the square bud!:metal:

Lol!! To be exact. Need one more for 10;). And I know! I have been hunting and hunting for weeks after I sold my cutlass for a project. There were a few under 1000 and I got beat every time! My g/f was just telling me a few hours before that I need to get a 73-80 to start with..easier then converting. And that another will come up soon (lost out to a 86 for 400 2 days earlier)...was like fate!! Lol!

Thanks bud! An all out driver? Lol! Plan on stock two tone. But with a silver middle and top..and blue for the main. 22's and on the ground. I want to get some custom big 10 decals made with some lime green as the chrome that goes around the body will have a green pinstripe instead of the black. 73 grille...hmmm. 454 for sure..and not set on an interior color yet. I have had almost defy aspect of my "perfect" round eye planned out for over a year. So this is Gunna be a good one!!
