Picked up a NOS 78 to 80 Street Coupe hood ornament on Ebay....haven't seen one up for a while but $240.00 might bring a few more out.

Was anyone here bidding on it ...looked like 2 other bidders were interested

Yes,I was lucky enough to get the search notification in time to hit the buy it now button.....I had the correct emblem on my 79 but it will be nice to put a NOS one on ...the original had some fading.

I came across it while it was still active and intended to send you a PM. When I decided to get the item number to send you it had ended . I figured I knew where it went and I thought the price was great . probably because he stated he thought it was for a Van. Otherwise I am sure it would have been more .

Yes,the I think van specification slowed the response...the buy it now was about 1/3 of what it would have made with a regular auction and correct description.
It is nice to pick up a good buy once in a while .

I have one of the vans with the"Chevy Sport" Z77 package;it is original paint and stripes but needs restoration;I picked it up because it was only the second one I had ever seen but I don't know if I will get around to doing it.

There's one for sale in Edmonton where I am....I'm not sure if it is original or aftermarket.

His asking price is $175.
