Hello,

I have a set of 8 lug 19.5 steels for my K30 dump project. Pulled from an early '80s mini-bus, they're nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find around here. Plan to powdercoat white with black lug rings. 245/70R19.5s will look HUGE on there, should look mean ;).

Anyway, don't have any pics, so I'm sorry this doesn't help you. Just didn't want you to fell alone here :). I plan to run them, just haven't made of that far yet...

I had no idea you were a member here! Love the conversions! Would love to build one, and run super singles on all four corners one day.

On my mobile so I can't post pictures right now, but search my posts. My '87 has 19.5" steelies off a P series van. I really like the way they balance out the look of the truck without being over the edge on wheel/tire ratio.

These are all 19.5's which won't work on 502ss's lowered dually. How about trucks w/19" (milled 19.5's w/19" tires) combo's? I've only seen a couple & they were in the TnWT website gallery.

Now you tell me the 19.5" won't work on a lowered truck! Dang I wish I'd known a year ago before I started driving it every day...

Always a S-A in every crowd  .... I did not say they won't work @ all. I said:

How much is your drop? 19.5's are very limited on tire selections when it comes to height (meaning you can't get a 28-29" tall 19.5). So, unless he plans to remove his inner fender well up front or build new ones (both of which he's alluded to are not in his plans) I stand by my comment (those set-ups wouldn't work for him on his dropped truck).

Thanks for reiterating why I asked for 19" specifically, not 19.5' not 22's, etc....

I posted the same question over on duallyscene and Trevor from TW&T posted me a couple of pictures. This is what I am looking for!

pvkj, that looks so much better! I love the hell outta that truck, but the way those huge chrome caps looked on the black wheels really turned me off. And I actually do like black and chrome wheels, my 82 has black painted stock steel wheels with chrome lugnut covers and trim rings. But those caps were just way too big.

Re: Pics of duallies with 19" wheels

I know a couple guys running the old GM rv 8 lug 19.5s on squarebodies, I think it looks cool. But I haven't been able to find any and I've been keeping an eye out for years. Limited tire choices in that size, but with a lifted dually I've already got limited tire choices. Right now I've got a 4 inch suspension and 31 inch 16s. If I could find 19.5s and 225 or 245 tires, I'd be willing to add a 3 inch body lift to clear them if I needed to.

Thanks. I would have rather had the stainless caps with separate lug covers for the black wheels but I don't think they would have worked with my wheel adapters. I also need the removable centers to get to my lockouts.

502ss, what are you planning to run for tires? What kind of load rating/size is available? As focused as your build is on keeping the towing ability intact, just curious what you've found.

Mine is a 4/6 static drop. I haven't moved the fender wells. It hits from time to time, but I find the brake pedal comes in handy as far as keeping the truck off what's left of the bump stops.

383, That's a sharp looking tuck in you last post! Also dig your signature. We loved the old Rugby Imports t-shirts that had the Henry the 8th on the back. A great line for the right circumstances!
