bed supports ????
 

I have a long box 71

the first brackets at the back of the cab the bed bolts to..
what are the brackets right behind these??
nothing was bolted to them but there is a bed crossbrace that it sits on.. but no bolt..
what was the use of these, I'm should g.m. isn't adding brackets that arnt needed/used..

My longbed had bolts in there as well. You should have bolt holes in the bed in that spot.

I have 8 bolts..
the first bracket, the 3rd(flater one) then 3rd 16"ish from the end and a 4th almost at the end. total 8
no holes in bed or crossbrace

Sorry man, not sure what I was thinking, that is correct, the second ones are just supports. They shouldn't have bolts in them.
