I made the crossmember, upper and lower control arms, upper control arm mount and frame stiffner.I used the Hotchkis sway bar,Metric Impala spindles(from speedway),QA1 coilovers,Thunderchicken rack and pinion and napa ball joints.

How did you come up with the measurements for the upper and lower A arms? Your work is bad a$$! I would like to attempt my own front suspension when that hurdle comes and this is inspiration!

I mounted the frame to my welding table and made a jig under my original suspension. This gave me a guideline to reference to my lower balljoint location. After that it was just reading alot of books and getting info from different websites and measuring alot.I looked at buying a kit but didnt see one i liked so i combined several different things from several different companies.

Right on man, thanks for the answer. Do you have any more pics taken during the process? I like the idea of building a jig off the stock suspension :metal:

The jig was just a few pieces of square tubing,Used it to mark my lower control arm location.
