Re: Any thoughts on this Ebay truck?
it's probably at its sell price already --- $2500 is up there for the condition, unless you absolutely need a 4x4.
Are you going to use it as a daiy driver or fixer upper? |
Re: Any thoughts on this Ebay truck?
Daily driver, I'm not looking for a fixer-upper. I'm guessing you may tell me that it is...

Re: Any thoughts on this Ebay truck?
The hood pins kill it for me. Its gonna be hard to buy a square that is not a fixer- upper unless you spend money. What is your budget? Jay

Re: Any thoughts on this Ebay truck?
I was hoping to keep it under $7000, closer to 5. Maybe I'm just better off getting a newer Chevy. I really like this body style, though...

Re: Any thoughts on this Ebay truck?
Imagine what the inside of those panels look like where the rust is popping out.....

Re: Any thoughts on this Ebay truck?
Any truck that is 30 years old will need some work.
One thing to keep in mind is that there are new trucks listed for sale every day...so unless your gut says to "buy this one" when you check one out, hold off. $5k to $7k is alot of money, there have been some awesome trucks listed for sale around that price (even less) on this Board by members over the last 6 months too. |

In the South, or West you can buy a very nice rust free truck for 5k-6k and spend 1k to have it shipped home. That will be much cheaper than buying a rust bucket and trying to repair the body. |
