my 70 chevy

here are some pics of my 70 chevy that i bought way backwhen i was 15 so about 17 years ago me and i pops originally built it i have pics of the entire build and all this poor truck has gone threw but allot of the pics are not digital lol but she started off just yellow and lowered then she got shaved and i did the air ride in 1998 and in 99 i worked for a shop called IF customs and joined a car club and then it all went down hill lol thats when we body dropped it in late 99 then from there i chopped it 2 inches and along with allot of other mods and repairs from being driven 1" off the ground for so long i think i went threw 3 rollpans and now im gonna finish her once and for all i have allot of work ahead of me ill post pics as i go

here is when i put a new roll pan and lower quarters on i used long bed lowers so i had to shorten them to fit the shot box and the new roll pan came form bob grant at grant customs in oriville ca

ill take some more pics of the hood today sounds like a few guys are interested in it it was pretty simple to do its just taking your time and planning it out i would prob do it diff now but ill be doin my dads hood in a few months
and if any one needs factory replacement parts a good friend of mine mike works at golden state pick up parts he is a really good guy and i have been using allot of thier stuff and its quality products too i know everyone uses brothers and the truck shop but just another option for you guys |

well on the hood of my truck i took 1 inch out of the top of the hood and changed the front angle to match the winshield angle better since when i chopped it i laid the window back and didnt cut across the roof anywhere the hood was a lil bit of a pain cause you have to remake the hood corners and it was easier to just make new front peices as well i did it one time before where i just made lil filler pieces and it took allot of body filler
here are some pics of my dad 72 gmc and a 68 im workin on as well we just re did some paint on his and put some of the factory trim back on |

he actually wants me to lay his hood back to so when i do ill take allot of pics for everyone he is trying to talk me into letting him use my hood for now hahahah we will see i might let him
