A 1973 GMC Sierra Grande 454 for the archives
5 Attachment(s)
Hey Folks
I have posted in the 67-72 realm because I have a 1970 GMC Sierra Grande, but I discovered this 1973 model. It's very original, very well-optioned and only 108,000 miles. I took some pics as well...enjoy, HenryJ (*1) I wasn't aware that there was an animal associated with the Sierrra Grande! Unable to determine if it's a Bison/Buffalo or Steer.... (*2) Also does anyone know what option Z88 GMC conversion means? |

I'd love to have that truck and use the body to replace my rusty one.

1. It looks like a bison. Not sure of the connection, but my '74 Custom Deluxe has a cowboy hat. Not something I would normally associate with it, but what so I know.
2. I think Z88 is just the option code for the Sierra Grande package. It sounds right, anyhow. |

Z88 is the option that drives all the GMC emblems.
These days there is also a comparable RPO for Cadillac = Z75. And there is also an RPO for Chevy = X88. K |
