Correct underhood color
 

When doing a factory two-tone, my hood will be white on the top side, What color was the underside? White also or or semi-gloss black? The underhood brace bars are semi-gloss I believe also.

60-61 GMC would be body color, white in your case. Hood braces would be black. Period photo from 1960 verifies this.

I have that same picture, the 1959 popular Mechanics showing off the firs V-6. Forgot I had it. I figured the color would be the white but was not quite sure. Makes it easy for the painter this time.

i have seen 60-66 truck's still wearing original paint that the backside of the hood was semi gloss black and some that were body color too so i would say they came both ways.
