I just bought me a 1981 k5 2wd with a tpi motor and 700r tranny. Thing runs great. I just drove it back home going 80 90mph no problems at all. Needs some tlc but pretty nice imo. What y'all think. Guy wanted 2900 but I ended up giving him 2100 bux,

Hell yes I got plans..lol for starters, I have all the airbag setup ready, sh*t, I had that before I even had the truck..lol and I am going burnt orange satin.. hook em..:metal:

Oh, by the way, I found another k5 2wd blazer here in houston, tx. Truck runs great and shifts smooth. Guy got a a company truck so he dosnt use it anymore he want 1500 bux. Clean in and out with close to no rust lmk if intrested. I almost bought that but couldn't pass up this tpi swap...

Why will the color be fugly? I figured you might like it above everyone since your from home of the longhorns, let me guess, your an aggie, or even worst TexasTech..no pun inted, all in fun, or is there another reason you might thing the color looks bad.
