Got this message he cashed my check and never heard from him again. He is a Senior member known as:

70rs/ss
Senior Member

I haven't sorry, about the time you bought the rack, someone bought the whole Burb as well as the Blazer, so I have been super busy buttoning up those two, I delivered the Blazer LATE last night and got back about 5AM today. I have a few more details on the Burb to get done before the shipper picks it up, but I should be able to send it tomorrow. I haven't deposited the check yet but I'll do that and send it both tomorrow, sorry for the delay.

How long is the time frame on this? Did you let a moderator know about this? Did you send a PM to mike?

I was ask to place this here by gcburdic, it has been almost two months since sent my check he held it for about two weeks and the cashed the check. I have sent several pm's and thread messages to him requesting any kind of communication and he does not respond. I am confident at this point he has flaked and kept my money or some kind of terminal illness that would keep him from responding. At the same time he was to mail me my roof rack he sold a blazer and suburban to other members. So he had plenty of cash at the time.

Just an FYI. Anytime a thread is posted in the "Bad Deals" forum, it creates a notification in the admin area, so they can follow the thread. That is why we always recommend people who are having issues with a seller to post their information in "Bad Deals".

Ok, I did not know that. To the casual observer such as me it appeared that this thread was just languishing here without the OP getting any attention. Now I know better.

:) every post, thread, reply etc that is made in the review areas, emails me directly. This area was set up to help fix a bunch of issues with folks contacting us in other means. Thank you for posting and helping the OP though, that is very cool. Most would just read it and close it.

I am glad to say after following the steps that I was advised the problem is solved. The other party wrote his side of the story about why he never shipped or responded to my messages and returned my money. I got a money order today for the full amount and some additional cash for my trouble.

I would like say that these whole mess could have been avoided if he had a few minutes of his time to contact within a reasonable am out of time and explain.

I am really glad it worked out. 70 rs/ss has always been a good member, and I would hate to of seen something change that.
