Burb - Panel Car Cover
Does anyone have or use car covers to to keep their burb or panel covered when sitting outside. If so where did you get them I have been looking but havent really found anyone that carries them.
thanks |
Re: Burb - Panel Car Cover
I use a inexpensive cover I bought off ebay as a dust cover inside the garage. It is not something I would use outside as a weather cover though.

yeah i saw a few different ones online some cheap and some not so cheap. i will probably get a middle grade one since i wont be able to get to my panel project for a while but might as well keep it covered.

LMC Trucks had ads for three different styles and quality levels for trucks, blazers and burbs in magazines a while back.... Here is what I found on their website:

Re: Burb - Panel Car Cover
I'm sure if it's like everything else in LMC, it's crap. Try California Car Cover, they custom made one for my blazer, but they might have one for a burb. It's a great cover and has kept my topless blazer dry at a few shows where it unexpectedly decided to rain.

A bit on the spendy side, but I have personally seen the top of the line cover they sell and it seemed worth the money to me.

Re: Burb - Panel Car Cover
apparently the superweave is the best choice for me....outdoor storage in northern new england where hot sun, rain AND snow are all present at various points during the year. but at that price, i could almost afford a decent portable garage that would keep crap from going under the car and there would be more air space for moisture to evaporate.

KC let us know what you buy and how you like it.. I may be in the market for one of these soon myself.

Re: Burb - Panel Car Cover
I've got the $99 mid-grade LMC one - works great - the sub stays completely dry under it - but I often need to run a bungy cord under it (there are grommets mid point for cords) as a good wind blows it off. I've had it about 6 months now - use it all the time - used it all winter...seems to be holding up well.
