Parting out 1990 Suburban

Engine and trans are gone. Truck rally's and tires are going on my truck till I can find what I want. The rest is for sale. Interior is in pretty good shape other than the dash which is cracked to hell and the 3rd row seat is missing. The motor/trans were missing when I got it so I have never had a battery on it to check electric parts.

I took a closer look at the door carpets today. The drivers side is rougher in person than in the picture. TBH not worth the cost of shipping them probably since new ones aren't that high.

The steering wheel is in good shape 40 + ship on it. I wouldn't expect shipping to be over $10 but I will get an exact quote if you want it.

Console is in pretty good shape other than the chrome part where you put the key in being missing but you can see that in the pic. For now I want to keep it with the seats. If I change my mind I will give you first shot at it.

Completely missed this post when I went out to check parts out today. Will check condition and get back to you with a price later today.

Body of the burb is pretty rust free and the back is the gate style. That said, the bottom portion of the gate has dents.

As you can see in the pics the clip isn't perfect. Specifically, the pass fender has a couple dents you can see in the grille pic at the front. Also in the grille pic you can get a pretty good idea of the grille condition. Chrome is less than stellar and it has a crack which you may or may not be able to see in the pic. All in all the pass fender can be used but isn't great, same for the grille. Drivers fender, hood, bumper, inner fenders, radiator support are all in pretty good shape.

$200 for the whole thing if you can pick it up.

Hello,

31 gallon tank? Not sure how far apart you're willing to go, but I've been looking for a set of Suburban fuel tank crossmembers (for the square style tank). Anything you can do?

Thanks,

Joe

how pitted up are the luggage rack ends? The 6 chrome stands that the rack sits on is what I am looking at. Trevor

Still waiting on the title for the truck that needs the front clip. I'll pass for now so as not to hold you up but will pm if I get the paperwork.

I glanced at them today while I was pulling parts. They didn't look bad. I will get them off and give you a pic when I make it back out there. Probably tomorrow or the next day. I am trying to get the parts off the truck so I can put pics and prices of specific parts in the thread. The middle stand looks more aluminum than chrome btw. Is that the same as yours?

Yeah, the middle stand, may be aluminum not real sure. Let me know how bad the pitting is on the ends when you get to them, no big rush. Trevor

Here are closeups of the front two. They are the worst of them. Not sure if this set is going to be worth the hassle for you tbh unless yours are in pretty poor shape.

EDIT: I just looked at the pics. The chrome has wrinkles in it which is what I was trying to show but the pics are kinda bad and probably make them look worse than they are.

Did you see much pitting? The chrome is just wavy looking? What are you wanting for all 6 pieces, and the gaskets under them? Trevor
