Exhaust Manifold Question
2 Attachment(s)
I bought this manifold on here about a year ago. I posted a want ad for a GM manifold. I never paid close attenton to the markings before today. Today I sandblasted the manifold. In doing so, I noticed that the 'M' is missing from the GM. It has the markings: 3832470 LH 22 G The part number might also be 3932470. I can't quite differentiate whether it has an 8 or a 9 in the part number.
Can anyone tell me anything about this manifold. Is it GM, and is it for a truck? Thanks so much. Richard |
Re: Exhaust Manifold Question
If that last number is a 3 instead of 0 then,
3932473 69-70 327, 350 & 400 LH Passenger 235, 250, 255, 265 & 300 HP 2.0" Outlet I found that here. Click on Parts ID http://www.chevymania.com/ |
Re: Exhaust Manifold Question
You know, I think that might just be 3932473. So, that website indicates "passenger," and that means it won't work on a truck, correct?

Re: Exhaust Manifold Question
Sorry Richard, I don't know if it will work or not. :(

Thanks for chimming in and providing me with some info. Hopefully others can let me know if this will work on a truck, and what's up with there only being a G, instead of a GM embossed on the side. |
Re: Exhaust Manifold Question
On a 2wd it should work just fine, allthough I am pretty sure the trucks were 2 1/4" outlet

Re: Exhaust Manifold Question
Richard,
it will work fine on your truck. they all are 2 inch outlets. the only larger openings are on the straight dump vette manifolds-they are 2 1/2 inch. |
Re: Exhaust Manifold Question

Re: Exhaust Manifold Question
Oh, does anyone know why GM only embossed the letter G on this manifold?
