I guess I had placed this on a wrong thread :banghead:. I will try here, I am wondering if anyone had done a resilver to the rearview mirror? As yours probly has done, the edges are fading and I can not stand it. Thanks for any help.

i've had rare classic cars that the mirrors required resilvering it was quite expensive at the time (over 20years ago) for these trucks i'd opt for reproductions or good used one in a heartbeat verses the cost resilvering the originals

As of now I do not have a rearview for my 72. Does anyone know if it looks hard to take apart? I would assume that there is a way to do it.
