Where to buy fuel tank to cab seal?

I'm needing to purchase a new filler grommet so I can install my fuel tank. Where's the best/lowest price to order from. All I need to order is the grommet at this time.

It's going to cost me 17.95 shipped from GMC Pauls. Is there any better deals out there? I'd place a bigger order, but I just don't need to order anything else at this time.

Thanks,

You can find NOS ones on E-Bay all the time.

You need to clarify witch grommet you need. 1 1/2" or 2". 2" NOS GM grommets are fairly easy to find, we even stock them (out but have them on order) However the 1 1/2" grommets are far and few between. The LMC gas filler grommets are trash and if you do a search you will see several posts telling how they crack in short order. We are expecting our 1 1/2" grommets after a wait of more than a year around the first of May. Ours are garanteed for 5 years from any cracking or degrading. WES

Thanks for the info. Any chance I can get on the list for a 1 1/2" grommet?

It's for a 1968, so I'm needing the 1 1/2". Thanks for the offer though.

As a rule the 67-70s use 2" grommets, and the 71-72s use the 1 1/2". However it always is best to measure your filler neck if you don't have the old grommet to compare to.
Anyone who wants one of our the 1 1/2" grommets should either call us 888-338-2502 after 9:00 am pacific standard time and we can take your information, or email us. However email is not secure so do not email credit card info. WES

Thanks for the info. I read the exact opposite the other day. I'll measure tonight to confirm.

It should come in at around $9.95. A little more expencive than the others out there, however ours will come with a 5 year warranty against cracking or otherwise degrading. As I have found out on our other exclusive parts though, I need to wait untill the parts get here to price them. WES

My truck has been neglected the last month... Just now ordered that grommet and the tar pads from classic heartbeat. Shipping was kind of steep but I'm sure I'll be happy with the product.

Thanks for all the info Wes.
