Bags in rear only

i know this subject has been beaten like a dead horse before..but the search brings up so much stuff..

best thing for bags in the rear so i can 1) have low ride height and cruise and then 2) haul my bikes

i dont wanna run compressor or tank, just a schrader kind of set up..i have a c notch and just wanna run in place of coils..whats the best for drop and cruise, fill and go..

I would think that a bag bolted to the trailing arm would be easy enough. Surf the suspension marketplace for board vendors and one of them should be able to hook you up with brackets, bags, line and fittings to do this for around $250-$300, roughly.

What about running air shocks?

bad idea. especially when the truck already has trailing arms on it. shock mounts are not meant to support the weight of the truck.

Check with Way2lo2 in the Suspension Marketplace. He is selling a low buck kit that uses paddle valves, etc. If you only want to do the rear, I'm sure he will work with you.

Essentially you need two bags, air line, and two schrader valves for a simple rear set up. Forum member Scoti has been running a system like this for years with great results.

I have the ECE super rear kit on my 72' and have never had a lick of trouble. The kit includes the long track bar, shock relocators and Firestone Sleeve type bags. This set up has handled anything I can throw at it, handles great and rides pretty low. I love it.

you can look at my build I use my truck to haul my Harley too ..its nice when the gate is 6" off the ground!!!

a couple bags 2 celnoids and some line you'll be set just be sure to use 2 vavles to stop the air from going to one side in the corners....also a 5 gallon air tank will be enough for you to relaod your bike and pick it up and go home..then you can refill the air tank there
