Gonna do a trade.

Real quick ?, I picked up this Sebring a few days ago so I can make a few extra bucks. I am considering trading it for 79 truck. The truck is straight, no rust,no door panels, desent seat, automatic trans, factory 454 (runs like crap),the front wheels are tilted due to the hacked lowering job. Anyway, What could I sell this for at a reasonable price. I already have two projects at a hault due to low funds. Thanks !!

I've had a couple of those Sebrings, great cars. I sold the last one about 6-7 years ago, a '96 like the white one there, for around $4k. Mine was pristine and loaded.

What was hacked on the '79 to lower it? How much work does the engine need? Do you need a 3rd project on halt?

If you were going to keep the truck it would be a good swap. If this is strictly a business proposition it seems like you need more information.I don't know what sells in your area, but anything that drinks fuel is selling slowly around here. I would want to know how many dollars I was going to spend and what price it would bring if I had to sell it within two weeks.

I would try to get some difference if that car is as clean as it looks in the picture. 454 truck with gas going through the roof is going to sell pretty slow.

Agreed with above. There's a much larger market to sell the Sebring as opposed to a primered 30+ yr old truck with mechanical issues.

If you are planning on keeping the truck, do the trade.
If you want to flip it, you will probably be better off with the Sebring.
Even though it is a factory 454 truck, in the condition it is in, it would be a 1,000 truck here.

Sell the car. Money is always better than another truck you can't work on.

I would sell the car.. its worth more then the truck sadly, and will sell a hell of a lot faster.

Re: Gonna do a trade.

I would take the truck if it's decent. I would ask for some cash plus the truck for the Sebring.
Put lowering springs and spindles on it, spray bomb it flat black, give the engine a tune-up, and sell it for $4,000.
That truck looks real solid, put it on Ebay and sell it to someone in the rust belt.
