lol......i lost the tag on my tie-rods that tell if they outter or inner.......how do i tell the differance? i know there a code stamped on them if you can give me the code to just one of them and identifie which it is that would help. thanks. also they are different sizes just tell me if it's the long or shorter one in our out....thanks agian

I think I did the same thing and what saved me was one of them would not go through the drag link because the holes on the inner was a different diameter than the outer. Does that make sense? I also believe the rubber boots were different on the inner and outer for mine. Dang, I wish I could rember for you. I want to say the shorter is the outer, but don't hold me to it.

i didn't think of the diameter, that might be the key.....

ONE SHOULD BE LEFT HAND THREAD AND THE OTHER SHOULD BE RIGHT HAND THREAD. THIS WAY WHEN INSTALLED YOU CAN TURN THE SLEEVE TO ADJUST THE ALIGNMENT.
