Spid 3536aa

Looking at a truck, the SPID shows 3536AA white turquoise. Is this the paint color? The truck is a dark green color now. I couldn't track it down.

Just had a thought...I bet this is a two tone truck. White with turquoise. Just a thought.

That's what we were thinking. The tailgate was white. It's been repainted green and gold 2 tone now. Gonna investigate more.

After doing a google search I think this is what your truck may have originally looked like.

Wow thanks, what a cool color! Lol. This truck has wood grain trim on it also not the black. Also he claims the vin is a 69 gmc, but it has 5lug and front disks. So she's a hybrid. Lol

The five lug switch is common as many of us have switched out so we can have fron disc brakes verses the stock drum. (this is a plus) The wood grain trim means it has one of the optional trim packages.

moa, I'm still checking, but you have a two tone code (536) It should break down to 511 turquise poly and 521 white, for a 1969 gmc. Sorry I can't say for sure, I'm still checking for ya.:)

Fyi the model code ce1500d is not quite right. It should be CE159od for a 127" wheelbase gmc 67 to 69 gmc fleet

And the code z62 comfort and apperance is a trim package mid level.

Ok thank you,
I'm going to see it Thursday, if he still has it. I'll try to check the mOrel number. The 9 missing confused me also.

What would the inside color have been? White or turqiouse? I think the cabs been replaced as it's dark green.

moa, don't know on the interior color. The cloth/vinyl was black.
Don't worry about the model number cause the PO wrote over it so he prob. made that mistake at that time.
When you go to check out that truck be sure to check the title vin number against the cab vin, and it would be nice if the vin was also right on the SPID and a parcel match on the frame number. Have fun man, let us know what you find out....:)

PS that turquise color is really cool IMHO. one of the best colors out there. JMO

No title, Maine doesn't require one so they are few and far between. I'll check it out and let you all know if I bring it home!
