Well I did it!
I bought the '72 Cheyenne in Arlington! Hutch was right on in his description of the truck. I wanted to thank Hutch and Ryan(low84), as well as several guys over at southern bowties who offered to look at the truck for me. I think I got a solid original truck, that appears to drive and run well. It'll need some work but not a whole lot I hope. I'll know more after I get the truck home on Sunday.
I will work on trying to find out how to post some pics. Now I can start really buggin' ya'll with alot of questions. LOL Mike:D |

Pict's Pict's Pict's!
Congrats. |
Mike,
I am glad you got it. It really seemed like the kind of truck that needed to go to Someone who would appreciate it. It was also interesting chatting with the previous owner: He told a story of another truck he had recently sold. He stated that it was an f-100 a 64 I believe and it was in the auto trader for like 4 months with no takers. The truck was all original and complete including original paint that was wearing thin and had a small amount of surface rust. Long story cut short. A guy calls from Kuwait and bought it and was having a crate built to ship it over. He thought that Abdul was a crank caller until the money showed up in his account and the crate-builder called to get the trucks demensions. Have fun |
I'm trying to post poc but said the file was too large, so I've been trying to figure out how to resize it. I am waiting for my acct. at My old truck .com to activate and will try uploading there.
I'll keep trying. M |

Something to be proud of for sure.......
Give us a run down on the equipment and features........... |
Nice find!! It costs us northerners $5,000 to get our trucks to look that good.... after the initial purchase price!! Oh, Hutch, apparently Abdul never heard of 20ft containers??? Used to go load vehicles in them for overseas all the time.

Thanks guys,
I am walking out the door to go get the truck. I'll give a rundown on the details when I get a chance to go over the truck in more detail. I saw Abdullahs truck. The owner said he asked what in the he$$ he wanted with an old Fo*% in the desert. Abdullah said that Old Fo#* trucks especially ones with BBs were a hot item over there. The truck has alot of surface rust but looks very straight, and the BB is shiney Fo*% blue. Mike |
