I like to use Zero-Rust. Works well and is easily sprayed.

Zero rust, wouldn't waste time or money on POR. Maybe to seal a gastank.

Re: POR-15,Anything Better?

The KBS guys will tell you their stuff is better than POR-15. Their story is that it was developed by people that defected from POR who wasnted to market a POR-type product that didn't have as many shortcomings. I have used a little of both and they seem similar. They are also similarly priced, but I believe the KBS Coatings products are less sensitive to light, and last time I checked their epoxy putty was available in black as well as the white that POR sells. I'd say they are worth checking out.

Rust Bullet is good stuff and a bit cheaper than POR15. Less intensive prep required and it's UV resistant so no top coat is needed, unlike with POR15.

the guys from the auto body store swear up and down on zero rust and will use it over por 15 any day. easier to apply and not as deadly when sprayed and have been told it last longer. that's what I'm going to be using for my truck. and it's cheaper
