383 stroker kit

green horn here asking a dumb question.
A 383 is a 350 with a different sized crank correct?
If im right, would this be a good deal?

I have a 350 4 bolt main and i want to get it rebuilt, wondering if this would be a good kit to use.

Re: 383 stroker kit

Might be. Is your block a stock bore or has it been bored already. That's a 30 over kit.
Lots of factors to look at. What heads will you use? Cam? Intake? etc. You might have 4000 or more into it to get it running. You can buy a complete crate for less than that.
Why not just rebuild the 350 stock. Learn how and do it yourself. There's some good books on how to rebuild too.

Cruise around on here for engine kits.
