Drop spindle Interference
I am doing a build on a 1970 c10 got her all cleaned up and started slapping some of the new parts on her and we noticed the spindles were though to turn.
With no weight on the suspension the top of the spindle interferes with the upper A-arm... is this normal? I have a feeling once we have tires on the the ground most of this will be a non-issue but i am surprised about this. Any insight into the matter would be greatly appreciated. Re: Drop spindle Interference
The upper a-arms are pointing down with no weight on the truck.
(especially with stock springs) Once the engine and sheetmetal weight are on the chassis,... the upper a-arm will be more "horizontal",... and not come into contact with the spindle. |
